Storage & Packing Tips
Always remember to lock your unit, locks are available from Jct. 2 & 18 Self Storage.
Make use of empty space such as drawers and cabinets for fragile items.
Label boxes so they can be stored properly and found easily.
Always fill boxes completely to prevent boxes from caving in.
Stuffing boxes with towels, blankets, packing paper, or bubble wrap can prevent damage to fragile items.
Do not store paint, bleach, or other combustible items
Do not store perishable items such as food
If you are storing a bedroom set, make sure the mattress is covered and lying on a level surface.
Do not store wet items, dry them before storing them to prevent mold and mildew.
Use protective covers for wooden and cloth items so they are less likely to be damaged by mold, mildew, or dust.
